By creating an account or using Rapid Help, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and — if you register as a provider — our Service Provider Agreement. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Rapid Help is a marketplace that connects customers who need a job done with independent, self-employed service providers ('tradespeople') nearby. Rapid Help is not itself a plumbing, electrical, or other trade services company — we don't perform the work ourselves.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Rapid Help. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. One account may hold a customer role, a provider role, or both.
Customers post job requests with a description, urgency, and location. Nearby available providers can request to take the job; the customer reviews requesting providers' profiles and ratings and chooses who to hire. A job is only assigned once a customer accepts a provider's request.
Providers using Rapid Help are independent, self-employed contractors — not employees, workers, or agents of Rapid Help. Providers set their own rates and decide which jobs to request. Rapid Help does not supervise, direct, or control how providers perform their work.
Prices are set by the provider (hourly rate and optional callout fee) and confirmed as a final price when the job is marked complete. Rapid Help charges a platform fee, deducted from the amount paid to the provider, for facilitating the match. Payment is captured on job completion, not held in escrow.
Either party can cancel a job before it's marked in progress. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on how cancellations and refunds are handled.
Customers and providers may rate and review each other after a job is completed. Reviews must be honest and relate to the specific job. We may remove reviews that violate our policies. See our Safety & Acceptable Use Policy for the conduct we expect from everyone on the platform.
Rapid Help provides the platform 'as is'. While providers go through an admin verification step, we don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of work performed, and we're not a party to the agreement between a customer and a provider for the work itself.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rapid Help isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from the acts or omissions of other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, our Safety & Acceptable Use Policy, or applicable law. You can close your account at any time from Settings.
These terms are governed by the laws of [England and Wales], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. See our Complaints & Disputes Policy for how we handle disagreements.
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
