Service Provider Agreement

Last updated 14 August 2026

1. Purpose

This agreement supplements our Terms & Conditions and applies to you whenever you use Rapid Help in the provider role — offering your services, requesting jobs, and completing work for customers.

2. Independent contractor status

You provide services as an independent, self-employed contractor. Nothing in this agreement creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between you and Rapid Help. You control how, when, and whether you perform any job.

3. Verification

Before you can go "available" and accept jobs, you'll submit profile and, where applicable, ID or certification documents for admin review. Verification confirms the documents you submitted — it is not a substitute for any license, insurance, or qualification your trade requires, which remains your responsibility to hold.

4. Your obligations

5. Fees and payouts

Rapid Help deducts a platform fee from the final price you set for each completed job; the remainder is your payout. Current fee rates are shown in the app and may change with notice.

6. Location sharing while available

While you're marked "available", your location updates periodically so nearby job requests can reach you and customers can see accurate distances. This only happens while the app is open and you're marked available — set yourself to "Busy" or "Offline" to stop sharing.

7. Taxes

As an independent contractor, you're solely responsible for reporting and paying any taxes owed on income earned through Rapid Help.

8. Insurance and liability

You're responsible for maintaining your own liability and any trade-specific insurance. Rapid Help isn't a party to the contract for work between you and a customer and isn't liable for the quality or outcome of that work.

9. Suspension and removal

We may suspend or remove your provider access for policy violations, repeated cancellations, safety concerns, or low-quality service, following the process in our Complaints & Disputes Policy.
