Safety & Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 14 August 2026
1. Our approach to safety
Providers go through an admin verification step before they can accept jobs, and every completed job can be rated and reviewed. Verification and reviews reduce risk but don't eliminate it — please use good judgment, as you would meeting anyone new to do work in your home.
2. Safety tips for customers
- Review a provider's rating, review count, and profile before choosing them.
- Keep communication about the job inside the app so there's a record.
- Confirm the person who arrives matches the profile you selected.
- Don't share payment details, passwords, or other sensitive information through chat.
- Trust your instincts — you can cancel a job at any point before it's completed.
3. Safety tips for providers
- Confirm job details before traveling to a new address.
- Let someone know your schedule when heading to an unfamiliar location.
- Keep communication about the job inside the app.
- Trust your instincts — you can decline or step away from a job that feels unsafe.
4. Acceptable use
- No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination based on protected characteristics.
- No fraud, fake job postings, or fake provider requests.
- No circumventing the platform to avoid fees.
- No fake or manipulated reviews.
- No offering or requesting illegal services.
- No sharing another user's personal information without consent.
5. Reporting a problem
If something feels wrong during or after a job — unsafe behavior, harassment, fraud, or a policy violation — report it through Contact Support as soon as you can, including the job number if relevant.
6. What happens after a report
Our admin team reviews reports, which may include looking at the job, messages, and account history. Depending on severity, outcomes range from a warning to permanent suspension. See our Complaints & Disputes Policy for the full process.
7. Emergencies
Rapid Help is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then let us know afterward.
8. Contact us
