Rapid Help charges on completion, not in advance. Nothing is charged when a job is posted or accepted — payment is only captured once the provider marks the job complete and confirms a final price.
You can cancel a job at any time while it's still "Requested" with no charge. Cancelling notifies any provider who had already sent a request that the job is no longer available.
Once you've accepted a provider, please cancel as early as possible if your plans change. A provider may, at their discretion, apply their stated callout fee if they've already traveled or begun preparing for the job — this is between the customer and provider and isn't a Rapid Help charge.
If a provider fails to arrive or complete an accepted job without notice, no payment is captured (payment only happens on completion). Please report the no-show via Contact Support so we can review the provider's account.
If you're unhappy with completed work or believe the final price was incorrect, raise it through Contact Support within a reasonable time of completion. See our Complaints & Disputes Policy for how these are reviewed. A review or rating alone doesn't trigger a refund.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Processing times depend on your bank or card provider and are typically a few business days after approval.
