This Privacy Policy explains how Rapid Help ("Rapid Help", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and services (the "Service") as a customer, a service provider, or both.
We use your information to operate the Service: creating and managing your account, matching customers with nearby providers, processing payments, sending job and account notifications, verifying provider credentials, moderating reviews and content, and improving the Service.
Location sharing on Rapid Help is foreground-only: your browser only shares your location while the app is open and active, and providers' live location updates only happen while marked "available". We do not track location in the background or when the app is closed. You can decline location permission at any time, though this will limit nearby-provider search and job matching.
We share the minimum necessary information between a customer and provider once a job offer is accepted, so the job can be completed (name, job details, messages, and approximate location). We also share information with service providers who help us run Rapid Help (hosting, payment processing), and where required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We keep account and job data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution needs. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to records we're legally required to keep.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to protect forms from cross-site attacks. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Rapid Help is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including password hashing and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
